OCRLaunched in 2015 by Beth Bishop, head coach and owner of The Phoenix Effect, OCR is a mix of conditioning and skill development, which enables athletes to have the necessary skills and stamina to complete an obstacle course race. Each class consists of a series of muscle-building, endurance-testing workouts. Think: rope hoists, partner banded sprints, kettlebell swings, monkey bar relays, and burpees.
