President-elect Donald Trump recently told 16-year-old Jackie Evancho “you’re hired.”
Evancho, who placed second on “America’s Got Talent” in 2010, accepted her invitation from Donald Trump to sing the national anthem at the swearing-in ceremony of the inauguration.
She confirmed her upcoming performance on the “Today Show” on Wednesday morning. Evancho said:
“I feel really honored. To be able to sing for the office – it’s a great honor for me.”
She sang for President Barack Obama a few years ago and called the experience “awesome.”
