Wednesday’s airing of CNN’s The Situation Room included a segment with the headline “Developing Now.” This segment featured speculation by host Wolf Blitzer and correspondent Brian Todd regarding the hypothetical of what would happen were Donald Trump and Mike Pence to both be killed prior to taking the oath of office.
As anyone paying attention to the array of anti-Trump protests planned to disrupt the inauguration, it is not inconceivable that some particularly radical elements among the already radical left could attempt the despicable act of assassinating the president-elect and vice president-elect.
