Legendary news anchor Bill O’Reilly thought he had seen everything in his lengthy television career which has spanned back to the 1970’s. However, all the usual rules have been thrown out the window with the emergence of Donald Trump.
Trump has finally forced our country to confront the very real issues surrounding illegal immigration. Instead of accepting the reality of this situation, the mainstream media has been presenting a decidedly liberal perspective on this issue in an attempt to defy Trump. The results have been disastrous, and O’Reilly reported how he just saw something he had never seen before.
On The O’Reilly Factor, Bill did not hold back with harshly critical words for the mainstream media blackout that has occurred regarding how two immigrant teens, one of whom is illegal, allegedly raped a high school student in Maryland.
Said Bill, “ABC, NBC, CBS did not cover it on their nightly news broadcasts. CNN did not cover the Maryland story in primetime last night. Ditto MSNBC. That is beyond anything I have ever seen in my 40 years-plus of journalism.” He added, “We all know why. Illegal immigration is a political issue.”
He then called out the mainstream media for “allowing the sanctuary [city] movement to pretty much run wild.” O’Reilly stated that “the federal government has lost control over the immigration process, and … many states and cities will not obey federal law, creating anarchy. [There] comes a time when citizens of any country have to demand justice, have to demand protection, demand the law be respected. We have not, have not, come to that time yet in America.” Do you agree with Bill O’Reilly?
