McCain said something he shouldn’t, and Spicer shutted him down!

Republican Senator John McCain of Arizona, who is looking more and more like a cautionary tale about the lack of term limits in the Senate, can’t seem to keep his mouth closed when it comes to smearing President Donald Trump.

McCain recently disgraced himself by commenting about the Yemen raid, “Every military operation has objectives. And while many of the objectives of the recent raid in Yemen were met, I would not describe any operation that results in the loss of American life as a success.” Press Secretary Sean Spicer had some harsh news for McCain.

Said Spicer during the last press briefing, “The life of Chief Ryan Owens was done in service to his country and we owe him and his family a great debt for the information we received during that raid. I think any suggestion otherwise is a disservice to his courageous life and the actions that he took. Full stop.”

He stated that the raid was “absolutely a success,” and added, “I think anyone who would suggest that it is not … does disservice to the life of Chief Ryan Owens. Anyone who would suggest otherwise doesn’t fully appreciate how successful that mission was, what the information that they were able to retrieve was, and how that will help prevent future terrorist attacks.”

Continued Sean, “I think anybody who undermines the success of that raid owes an apology and [does] a disservice to the life of Chief Owens. … The raid — the action that was taken in Yemen was a huge success. American lives will be saved because of it. Future attacks will be prevented.”  Watch below:
