Spurs come back from 28 down to win, their largest comeback under Gregg Popovich

What’s even more impressive is that they did it without Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge in the lineup, who both sat out for rest on the first night of their back-to-back.

Manu Ginobili led the way with 19 points, to go along with five assists, four rebounds, and three steals, and David Lee filled in admirably for Aldridge with a big double-double as he put up 18 points and 10 rebounds. Patty Mills also lit up the Kings with 17 points and 10 assists on 4-of-6 shooting from behind the arc.

Tyreke Evans posted a season-high 26 points in the loss, while rookie Skal Labissiere added 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field. The Kings have now dropped six in a row.

The Spurs will travel to Oklahoma City on Thursday to play their second of their back-to-back against the Thunder in a prime-time showdown on TNT.
