Acy (6’7”, 240) has appeared in 225 NBA games in parts of five seasons split between Toronto, Sacramento, New York and Dallas, recording averages of 4.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in 15.1 minutes per game. He saw action in six games with the Mavericks earlier this season, averaging 2.2 points and 1.3 rebounds in 8.0 minutes per game. Most recently, Acy has appeared in 12 games with the Texas Legends of the NBA D-League this season, averaging 17.3 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.6 steals and 2.1 blocks in 31.9 minutes per game.
Acy was originally selected with the 37th overall pick (second round) of the 2012 NBA Draft by the Raptors after a four-year collegiate career at Baylor University.
Brooklyn’s roster now stands at 15 players.
