President Trump had an interview with Sean Hannity at the White House, in which he talked about Liberals attacking his family, including his 10-year-old son, Barron.
Hannity asked whether the personal attacks have affected his family.
“I don’t mind some humor, but for NBC to attack my 10-year-old son is a disgrace. He’s a great boy and it’s not an easy thing for him,” said Trump, calling SNL a “failing show.”
“Saturday Night Live” writer Katie Rich put an end to her career last Friday when she tweeted a joke about Trump and Melania’s young son, and it backfired on her on the social media. She was suspended from the show a few days later and issued an apology.
The vicious attacking started with Rosie O’Donnell who shared a video linking Donald Trump’s 10-year-old son, Barron, to autism. “Barron Trump Autistic?”, she wrote.
A failed comedian Steven Spinola took it another sick step further, by writing: “Barron Trump looks like a very handsome date-rapist-to-be.”
Comedian Chelsea Handler also made headlines earlier this week for mocking Melania Trump’s accent.
On “Fox & Friends” this morning, Judge Jeanine Pirro talked about all these attacks and they were beyond the pale, reports Fox News Insider.
“Whether it’s the son or the wife, it’s outrageous. It’s a double standard. If we had done anything like this to Michelle Obama we would be racist, we would be haters,” she argued.
The White House asked for total privacy for Barron, in hopes that the mean attacks on the innocent child will finally stop.
In a brief statement to the media, the White House noted the “longstanding tradition that the children of presidents are afforded the opportunity to grow up outside of the political spotlight.”
