There are some Democrats in Congress who are painfully stupid, and there are others who are simply crazy. Sometimes it’s hard to tell which bucket liberal Congresswoman Maxine Waters falls into, and it may well be both.
Waters, who represents low-income areas in Los Angeles County, is famous for the off-the-wall and offensive statements she has made over her career about her many enemies on Capitol Hill. Now she just said something that’s so ridiculous about Donald Trump that it all but proves she’s actually insane.
Rep. Waters appeared on MSNBC and discussed the infamous fake “dossier” about President Donald Trump’s liaisons in Russian hotel rooms. Waters appeared to be unaware that this dossier has been universally discredited. Said Waters anyway, “Oh, I think it should be taken a look at.”
She continued, as host Ali Velshi looked on, stunned by the words actually coming out of this elected official’s mouth, “I think they should really read it, understand it, analyze it, and determine what’s fact, what may not be fact. We already know that the part about the coverage they have on him with sex actions is supposed to be true. They have said that that’s absolutely true. Some other things they kind of allude to. Yes, I think he should go into that dossier and see what’s there.”
Even the liberal Velshi couldn’t let Maxine Waters get away with the absurd statement she made. He slammed her by saying, “You say you think them to be true. How are we all going to find out what is true and what isn’t true? Does it help that you think so? Unless you have information that we don’t, that’s an allegation.” Ouch!
