Lindsay Lohan’s Dad Comes Forward To Reveal Her Daughter’s Shocking Connection With Islam

Mean Girls’ actress Lindsay Lohan has been flirting with the idea of converting to Islam. Or at least embracing a Muslim lifestyle. “I’ve studied the Quran for quite some time,” said Lohan.

“It’s a process to convert to anything. I respect all religions… it’s a beautiful religion and I am a very spiritual person… it’s something I’ve been studying. You cant just convert overnight to a religion. Anything’s possible; this is more of a personal journey. A lot of different religions and spiritualities appeal to me,” said Lohan in an interview.

She even made her instagram status “Alaikum salam” the Arabic phrase for “peace be with you”. This is certainly bizarre behavior, but not too unusual for a Hollywood celebrity. Her dad wrote a facebook status describing his daughter’s beliefs.

According to Page Six, Michael Lohan wrote that she is a Christian. He celebrated his daughter’s “Christian value of love- the light in the darkness.” He also wrote “PS I guess she’s not Muslim.” This message apparently was offensive to some people, for whatever reason. “I don’t see what Islam has to do with any of this” wrote one person.

Michael Lohan removed the line and apologized. “I’m sorry if I offended anyone with my post yesterday. I was just stating that the press is wrong, my daughter is not of Muslim faith. She was raised Catholic but is Christian!” he wrote.
