Now that outsider Donald Trump is our country’s democratically elected President, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan has begun to voice his support of Trump, his achievements so far and for his overall vision of America and his agenda items.
Ryan is clearly not to be trusted, however. Before Trump was elected, career establishment Washington political insider Ryan repeatedly slammed Trump. Trump’s close circle of advisers certainly have not forgotten the disloyalty that Ryan showed to Trump, and one of them recently tore him apart for what he just did.
Paul Ryan has stated on the record that he wants to repeal Obamacare, but when it comes down to actually making it happen he has so far proved to be totally gutless. Trump’s former economic adviser went on AM 970 and spoke with host John Castimatidis about Ryan’s cowardice.
Said McCaughey about Ryan, “If he can’t do his job as Speaker, to hold these Republicans together and get a repeal and replace bill through, somebody else should be Speaker.” Ouch!
She also outed Ryan as not being aligned with Trump’s own plans for Obamacare and its replacement. Said Betsy, “Ryan has attached things to his version of the replacement bill that are very unpopular. He’s got to get on board with Donald Trump, because Donald Trump’s program is popular.” She said that Ryan’s version would raise taxes n half of all Americans. Explained Betsy, “That’s like stabbing in the back the rust belt union workers who made Donald trump’s amazing victory possible.” Do you think she’s right about Paul Ryan?
